Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Tangier
Pick you up in Tangier Port or airport. Optional Guided Tour with a oficial Guide Visit the city’s Kasbah, the former Sultan’s Palace (Dar el-Makhzen) and Tangier’s Medina and if you wish you can visit the Museums of Antiquities and Moroccan Art. Night at a hotel.
Day 2: Tangier | Chefchaouen
Today you will head towards Chefchaouen, crossing the Rif Mountains, the peak reaches its highest at 2456m at Jbel Tidighine. Arrive to Chefchaouen, the blue shaded village amidst the mountains, painted blue by the Jewish refugees who lived there during the 1930′s Dinner and night a a Dar (Guesthouse).
Day 3: Chefchaouen
Day to visit the picturesque medina, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Rif Mountains and explore the suqre and Souks. Dinner and night a a Dar (Guesthouse).
Day 4: Chefchaouen | Volubilis | Fes
After breakfast, start the trip towards Fes. On the way. stop to visit the archaeological site of Volubilis, Roman Ruins, cultural heritage for humanity UNESCO Site. Continue the trip to Fes. Night at a Riad.
Day 5: Fes Guided Tour
Optional Guided tour with an official guide and you will be able to explore the UNESCO protected Fes Medina. Fes has up to 9,000 roads and alleyways and the best way to explore it is with an expert. Fes Medina is the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco, almost unchanged since the Middle Ages and declared World Heritage of Humanity in 1981. The doors lead us to a tangle of narrow streets and alleyways around the mosque Kairouine. Its university is the oldest in the world. Visit the neighborhood of the tanners and discover a terrace overlooking the tannery. Night at a Riad.
Day 6: Fes | Ifrane | Azrou | Erg Chebbi
Start the journey towards the Erg Chebbi Dunes. On the way you will pass Ifrane- the Moroccan Switzerland and Azrou before passing through Midelt and the Ziz Valley and onto the desert. Dinner and night at a Auberge.
Day 7: Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert
Day dedicated to explore the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert. Tour around the region to visit a local musical village Khamlia and share a tea with a nomadic family. Camel Trekking into the dunes, on the way ou will stop to admire sunset. Arrive to the Bivouac to have dinner under the stars followed by a night in a Berber-style tent. We have our own private camp area. If you prefer not to sleep in the camp, you can go ride the dromedary for one hour to admire sunset and spend the night at the Auberge.
Day 8: Erg Chebbi| Dades Valley | Ouarzazate
In the morning, opportunity to admire sunset and take some outstanding photos before heading back to Auberge. Start the journey to Ouarzazate, and on the way you will detour to visit Todra Gorge, the most impressive cannyon in Morocco. Arrive to Ouarzazate and visit Taorirt Kasbah once owned by the Glaouis family Dinner and night at a Riad.
Day 9: Ouarzazate | Ait Ben Haddou | Marrakech
Before heading to Marrakesh, you will visit the UNESCO world heritage site at Ait Ben Haddou. Then, Cross Tiz n Tichka pass, over the High Atlas Mountains and arrive to Marrakech. Transfer to your Riad.
Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour
Optional private Guided Tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens. Night at a Riad in the Medina.
Day 11: Atlas Mountains | Marrakech
Today, you will head to the Atlas Mountains, to visit Imlil. Due to its unique position this picturesque town has become the center of trekking tourism. Located 1and ½ hours outside Marrakech. Situated 1740 meters above sea level, Imlil is just below Djebel Toukbal the highest peak in Northern Africa. Go for a small tour in the village to explore the locals selling Berber silver jewelry and typical Moroccan treasures from this area. Enjoy lunch KasbahToukbal’s terrace with its magnificent views of Toukbal, just a 10 minute short walk past the tarmac road. You’ll then head back to Marrakech for the evening.
Day 12: Transfer to the airport
Transfer to the airport on time of your flight. End of our services.
